A licensed and the highest-paid dermatologist in Dubai, a beauty salon owner, a wonderful wife, a loving mother, an incredibly beautiful woman – all of this describes our heroine Ekaterina Triаменastsina. How she manages to successfully combine medical care, the beauty industry, and family without burning out, but instead thriving in her work, is discussed in our exclusive interview.

— Ekaterina, tell us a bit about yourself. How did your journey in medical care begin? Do you manage to balance your career and personal life?

— I have always appreciated aesthetics and have been interested in the beauty industry since childhood. As a teenager, my entrepreneurial spirit began to show, and the money I received for my 14th birthday was entirely spent on purchasing materials for nail services and eyelash extensions (with the support of my parents, of course). I wasn’t interested in spending money on childish wants; even back then, I unconsciously tried to turn my hobby into income, and I succeeded. Initially, my clients were my friends, then their mothers, and later their friends – it was a pleasant hobby during my school years. From there, I moved into a more interesting and complex field – permanent makeup (which was then called tattooing).

I always approached my work responsibly, and this yielded excellent results. I became a top master in my city, while other practitioners charged clients 5000 rubles, my work was valued at 20,000 rubles. This angered competitors, and absurd rumors about me circulated in the professional community, which only fueled interest in my work from clients and students, who were already coming to me from different countries to learn the intricacies of the trade or to get complex corrections of unsatisfying work done by other masters.

Besides all this, my husband and I launched our own professional cosmetic line for permanent makeup, which became successful worldwide.

In addition to permanent makeup, my professional journey in medical care began in 2016, diving into the daily grind in theoretical and practical training for hours. It was a long and challenging path, but it was all worth it.

Every year, my interest in medical care overshadowed permanent makeup in my activities, and cosmetology captured my heart by 99.9%. My profession helped me conquer not only Russia but also reach an international level.

Today, I am a licensed and the highest-paid dermatologist in Dubai, often receiving patients through recommendations, sometimes being their last hope for a positive outcome. Moreover, I have not given up on my childhood dream of owning a beauty salon, and besides my medical practice, I am the owner of a beauty salon also located in Dubai. Right now, my husband and I are planning to launch another brand, but for now, I will keep that a secret.

— You and your spouse have not only a strong family but also fantastic business partnership relations. How do you manage to find balance in such a challenging situation?

— Yes, despite the grand plans and complexities of the journey, behind my professional image stands a fragile woman with incredible people who always have my back. I have a wonderful husband who is always by my side — supporting, helping, and fully participating in work and organizational matters. Our partnership is strong not only in business but also in our family. People often wonder how we don’t get tired of each other being together all the time, but in our view, this is one of the secrets to success in everything. Together, we are raising two wonderful daughters, for whom I strive to be an example of a modern woman who knows how to love, create, develop, and not lose herself in the pursuit of success.

In my hectic life rhythm, family is an integral part of happiness. I also highly value the warm connection with my parents — despite the thousands of kilometers that separate us, our communication remains frequent and heartfelt. It is my mom and dad who instilled in me strength, hard work, and a desire for growth. Even as an adult woman, I still feel their unconditional support and love.

— Why did you choose the field of dermatovenerology? What influenced this priority in your profession?

— Dermatology is about health, aesthetic perception, and psycho-emotional state. I love this area for the ability to see quick and tangible results, for the subtlety of approaches, and for the fact that I can truly change the quality of life for people. It’s not just about the skin — it’s about the person. I have repeatedly seen tears of joy from patients when we achieved excellent results — this inspires me for development and professional growth.

— It is often believed that a good doctor must necessarily come from a lineage of doctors. Are there any other doctors in your family besides you?

— Yes, my mom is a healthcare worker. I often visited her at work as a child, and this undoubtedly played an important role in my choice of profession. I have always appreciated female beauty, and my mom, being a beautiful, youthful, and vibrant woman, has been an example for me. I absolutely loved seeing her in her medical uniform, observing how she works and interacts with patients, and from an early age, I felt an interest in the medical environment. My mom became an example of a beautiful and strong woman committed to her work. Now I see an interest in medical care from my children as well, and I hope they will follow in their grandmother’s and mother’s footsteps.

— How long have you been working in Dubai? Why did you choose this country for professional development?

— Before moving to Dubai, I had already received cooperation offers from various clinics in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the UK, and France that appreciated my professionalism, experience, and results. This was recognition — and an opportunity to choose and reach a completely new level. I was deciding between Paris and Dubai, and Dubai won. Now I am not only a practicing physician but also a medical speaker, coach, and mentor for colleagues from different countries.

As of today, in addition to my extensive practice with patients and students in Russia, while in Dubai, I have trained and mentored many doctors from Germany, Italy, Spain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the USA, Australia, the UK, France, Bahrain, Armenia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Morocco — and this is just part of the list.

Dubai has become not just a place to work and enjoy life but an international platform where I realize myself as a doctor, expert, and entrepreneur.

— It is believed that appearance, especially for women, determines confidence and the path to success. Do you agree with this statement? How much does appearance help in career advancement?

— I believe that appearance is an important part of communication with oneself and with the world. When a woman takes care of herself, she carries herself differently. But appearance is only part of it. True confidence comes from inner fulfillment, self-respect, discipline, and personal strength. Aesthetics help and enhance it – but they do not replace inner strength and professional skills. That’s why I work not only on the face but also on self-esteem through results and care.

— What does facial correction look like today? Can you tell us more about the directions of your work?

— Today, facial and body correction is a personalized, subtle, and intelligent approach. I work with contour plasticity, botulinum therapy, biorevitalization, PRP, lasers, anti-aging techniques, and liposuction. The goal of my work is not to change a person, but to emphasize individuality, maintain harmony, and slow down the aging process. My services are about a strategy for preserving beauty and extending youth. I create a personal protocol for each patient to achieve maximum results. My services are not for everyone; my patients appreciate high quality and safety. Often, after visiting me, patients postpone or cancel visits to surgeons – such cases uplift me as a professional.

— Have you encountered clients who became «victims of pseudo-professionals» needing to redo another master’s work?

— Yes, fairly often. People come to me after unsuccessful procedures, often after visiting not doctors but «masters,» with altered anatomy, complications, or simply disappointment. Correcting someone else’s mistakes is a challenging task that requires patience from the patient and high professionalism from the doctor. Besides physical work, I often need to work psychologically with these patients. If I take on such a case, I always see the patient through to a positive result. Aesthetic medical care not only requires professional knowledge, but also a proper vision of aesthetics. Therefore, a doctor in aesthetic medical care, in my opinion, is also a sculptor.

— You work with complex facial corrections. What do these procedures involve, who are they suitable for, and who needs them?

— Complex corrections involve working with asymmetry, post-traumatic changes, age-related transformations, and the aftermath of other procedures. This requires significant experience, an understanding of anatomy, a vision of true beauty, and delicateness. I approach this like a jeweler: without templates, with a comprehensive analysis and planning. These procedures are for those who seek not a «beauty injection,» but a conscious transformation. Often, patients come through recommendations, having seen my work on someone else’s face, and the only request I hear is: «I’ve seen your work, make me beautiful; you definitely know how to do this.»

— Do you have male clients? Or are women still your primary focus?

— Yes, I have quite a few male clients. These are confident, ambitious individuals for whom grooming is a part of their status and self-respect. Of course, there are more women, but men are increasingly coming in for delicate, thoughtful procedures without the excessive «puffy face» effect.

— What advice would you give our readers as an expert?

— Love yourself and choose the best. True beauty is safe grooming, calmness, and harmony with oneself. Don’t compare yourself to others, don’t chase trends; they are fleeting – choose what makes you happier, fresher, and more confident. Take care of yourself today, so you wake up fresh and beautiful tomorrow. Start small, trust professionals, and value yourself – at any age, in any condition. Because you are already a treasure.
