What inspires you in your work as a doctor and chief physician?

I was born into a family of medical professionals. My father was the first in the Republic to use reflexology (acupuncture) in his practice, and there were queues of people coming to him for treatment without pills. Even then I realized that I wanted to be a doctor like my father. Today, all treatment is based on standards. If you have a complaint, you get standard treatment. But our body works not only at the biochemical level, there is also biomechanics and psychosomatics, where pills do not work. Therefore, a large percentage of people, using handfuls of drugs, remain deeply ill people. In my work, I approach each patient individually. And I have a principle: it’s better to be over-warned than under-warned. As the chief physician of a multidisciplinary clinic, the quality of treatment is important to me, so that each doctor delves into the essence of each patient’s problem and prescribes non-drug treatments in addition to the standards of treatment with medications.

How do you find a balance between traditional methods of treatment and alternative approaches such as osteopathy and reflexology?

For me, anamnesis collection, examination of the patient, and hand diagnosis are mandatory. If I realize that a person needs to be further examined, I necessarily prescribe laboratory tests and diagnostics. As much as possible, I make a recovery program without medication. I can also prescribe medication if I study the results of the tests.

What principles and values underlie your approach to medicine? How do you measure success in your work?

Every patient is different, no two people or diseases are the same. There is no rush at the reception, less paperwork, more contact with the patient. A doctor’s success is the results of patients. This is when without advertising to you patients are coming to you by word of mouth. This is when people are willing to pay any money to see you.

Сan be unusual or innovative?

In my practice I use different types of treatment: osteopathy, which I have been studying for 13 years, reflexology, I studied in China, India, Germany, hydrotherapy, taping. All this is not taught in medical schools. Therefore, many doctors do not believe in it and say that these directions do not work. But I believe that this happens from ignorance, because it is easier to say that everything is nonsense than to open a book and look into it.

If you could cure one disease forever, what would it be and why?

Cerebral Palsy. Unfortunately, cerebral palsy is a common condition that is not well-treated. It’s hard not only for the children, but also for the parents. And we don’t have easy access to state support.

How do you maintain your professional qualifications and keep up with new scientific research?

At the age of 25 I defended my master’s thesis, and at the age of 33 I defended my doctoral thesis. I am the author of more than 120 scientific articles. Since I was a student, I have been accustomed to keep track of scientific news. Especially if they come to me with interesting complaints, rare diseases, I necessarily after reception allocate time to find scientific innovations. Regarding professional development – there has not been a single year when I would not study and improve my qualifications. It is a constant process. All my friends joke that I am an eternal student.

What success stories can you share about patients who have been cured or significantly improved?

I always admire our surgeons, intensive care specialists, anesthesiologists, and all the other specialties that stand guard between life and death. They have adrenaline and stories every day. I work with babies from birth, pregnant women and adults. And my goal is to improve the quality of life. You can live in pain forever, or you can live a life of pleasure. That’s my task – to make every parent understand what problems their child has, to be able to correct them in time, and then this generation will be healthier than we are.

When did you realize the need to create an online course for parents with children from 0 to 1 year old?

I had my first child at the age of 22. I was in my fourth year of med school. Pretty much a semi-med major. During pregnancy at 17 weeks was an appendectomy, then the entire pregnancy, the threat of non-pregnancy, 7 hours of drips geniprala for preservation, then cesarean section. And here I am with the child alone at home. This period I remember with a shudder. When the child practically did not sleep for 2 years and constantly cried, and no doctor could not help me. I only heard: bear with it, everyone has it, it will grow up – it will pass by itself. Of course, it passed on its own closer to the age of three, but we got other problems: stuttering, headaches, painful periods, bad posture. And it’s all interconnected. And if I had the knowledge that I have now, my child would sleep normally and I with her. It’s been 20 years and nothing has changed in pediatrics. Every day, moms come to me with the same complaints and they are also told it’s normal. So my mission: To make people healthier. All of our health problems come from childhood. If you train parents to pay attention to their children’s condition and help them on their own with basic osteopathic techniques, there will be fewer health problems in adulthood.

So was born online course Health from diapers. To help moms and dads.

What are your long-term goals?

The goal is for as many parents as possible to get the knowledge they need to keep their children and themselves healthy. That’s why I started running social networks 2 years ago, where I give a lot of useful information. The goal: is to expand the audience.
